True Story Facebook can be stressful 
There are so many hoaxes and fake profiles on Facebook it gets crazy sometimes. I generally friend anyone that ask, so I really do not know a lot of my FB friends. Yesterday afternoon I was messaged by someone I really do not know from the picture she appeared to be a college age female. At first from the conversation I assumed that she needed help with an assignment that my background in LE and or Investigations could help her with. Turned out it was money she wanted it was a sad story of being behind on her college fees. After this message from her “ Please any amount you can help me with i be happy to get it and i promise you that if you help me after that what ever you ask me to do i will do it i promise you please.” I blocked the page and profile.
Last night at approx. 10:PM my time, I was messaged by someone else I really do not know. The FB page does not have a photo of the person or a name of the person. They claimed that they were in a lot of physical pain and was in an abusive relationship. I was thinking here we go again. But something in that gut of mine told me keep her talking. This person claimed that they were going to overdose on pain medication and go to sleep for the night. I looked over the page and profile and was able to find just enough to use to further investigate and was able to come up with a possible address for this person. While continuing to try and keep this person talking. I located the contact info for the local Law Enforcement there. When I contacted them I knew it sounded strange but they did listen to me I had also located a contact e-mail address for the agency there and had already sent them a copy of the conversation and I advised the dispatcher of that. This dispatcher is one of the best I have ever dealt with. Turns out it was not a hoax. I was contacted back later by Law Enforcement there and the person was being provided services. I do not know why this person picked me, but I am glad I was able to help.

Important things that parents should know and understand if their child has ran away

I am sad to say that there are so many runaways each and every day in Oklahoma and across the country. Police departments do not have the manpower or resources to do a lot more other then take the report get a pick up order issued and get the child entered into NCIC “National Crime Information Center Database”. To try and understand the issue let me explain it this way. We will take Oklahoma City Police for example. If they were to open a true investigation into every runaway reported to them, it would take a division twice the size of their patrol division to do so. The funds are just not there.

However it is very important that children be located as soon as possible and returned home safely due to the fact of the criminal element that is out there preying on kids today including Human Traffickers.

That is why I do what do. When I can afford to take a case I do so at no charge to the family. That is why I try to get the information out to parents that have a child runaway to please as soon as it is reported to the police Please contact us if we can take the case we will at no cost. There are some good organizations out there such as CFSI Center for Search and Investigations it is a National Organization headquartered in Texas that I volunteer with as one of their Oklahoma Investigators. Corruption ??

    Corruption wrongful design to acquire or cause some pecuniary or other advantage, corruption may encompasses wrongful acts such as, bribes, kickbacks, jury tampering, and abuse of public office, failure to preform duty of the office held.

     Most highly publicized corruption involves public officials and law enforcement officers.  Why as citizens are we not doing more to put a stop to corruption? Will we ever take our government back and require our Police and other Public Officials do their jobs fairly? Do we care? Or are we so tied up in our own little world and that we just do not have time to care until it affects us personally? Then at that point is when we wonder why isn’t everyone as upset as I about all the corruption in our system.   

     It is not just the Police; you see corruption only works if you also have corrupt Prosecutors, Defense Attorneys and Judges. There must also be Media players in the corruption game. Is everyone corrupt? I would have to say no, however there are way too many.  I want to hear your comments and your stories.

Does JUSTICE exist?

I believe that justice always comes, but in what form? First do we know what justice is? What defines justice?

Wikipedia says: Justice is a concept of moral rightness based on ethics, rationality, law, natural law, religion, equity or fairness, as well as the administration of the law, taking into account the 

inalienable and inborn rights of all human beings and citizens, the right of all people and individuals to equal protection before the law of their civil rights, without discrimination on the basis of race, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, color, ethnicity, religion, disability, age, or other characteristics, and is further regarded as being inclusive of social justice.

     Do most people think that justice is just punishment for someone that does something wrong? I believe that everything you do in life has consequences, good or bad. Can you get justice for good things? While imperfect, justice is crucial to functioning societies. In the United States, our justice system may be the best in the world, the structure itself great. I feel where the problem comes in is, the human participants the flaws, politics and corruption of some of the participants is what causes the frustration that most have with the system and where they lose faith in it.

Classification: Endangered Missing

Age: 19 years old

Height and Weight: 4'11, 135 - 140 pounds

Distinguishing Characteristics: Native American female Light brown hair hazel eyes Melody's maiden name is Garton and she may use the name Melody Garton Jones. She wears eyeglasses with plastic frames, which she left behind when she disappeared. She would be legally blind without her glasses. Melody's shoe size is 5 1/2. She kept her fingernails short in 1983 and often painted them. Her ears are pierced and her hair is extremely curly.

Clothing/Jewelry Description: Unknown, but she often wears blue jeans.

Details of Disappearance

Melody was last seen in Earlsboro, Oklahoma on May 4, 1983. She spent the day fishing with her family. Her younger brother gave her a ride to her home on Benson Park Road and dropped her off. Her brother noticed the door was ajar and lights were on inside the home as Melody went inside. She has never been heard from again.

The following morning, after Melody failed to show up for work at the Dairy Queen in Seminole, Oklahoma, her mother went to the Jones home to check on her. Melody's husband, 20-year-old Paul Richard Jones, was found stabbed to death inside the residence. A photograph of Paul is posted below this case summary. He had been killed sometime during the night. Melody was missing, but all her belongings, including her purse and eyeglasses, were still there, and the couple's car was parked in the driveway. There were no indications that a domestic dispute had occurred.

An extensive search of the area turned up no sign of Melody. Her family believes she was abducted by whoever murdered Paul, and police agree that this is the likely scenario. Paul's murder was never solved and no suspects have ever been identified in his death or Melody's presumed kidnapping. I have been asked to look into this case. Classification: Endangered Missing
Date Of Birth: November 25, 1966
Age: 17 years old
Height and Weight: 5'2, 111 pounds
Distinguishing Characteristics: Caucasian female. Light brown hair, brown eyes. Sandy has facial freckles. Her right ear is smaller than her left ear and the top of it turns downward. Sandy was a cigarette smoker in 1984.
Clothing/Jewelry Description: A jogging suit and thongs.


Details of Disappearance

Sandy's mother divorced in the early 1980s. Her mother said Sandy took on additional responsibilities afterwards and was considered the "second mother" in their household. Sandy moved out of her family's residence in 1984 and stayed with a nearby girlfriend's family, and supported herself by working in local restaurants. She returned to her mother's home regularly to visit her younger siblings. Sandy served as president of the Vocational Industrial Club Of America (VICA) at her high school. Her mother said that Sandy experimented with alcohol and marijuana at the time.
Sandy planned to walk to a convenience store near Highland Street and Bryan Road to purchase cigarettes on September 19, 1984. A group of her friends passed and gave her a ride to a nearby bowling alley. Sandy's cousin was employed at the establishment. He told authorities that she asked him for a ride, but he was unsble to leave work at the time. Sandy's cousin said that she placed a telephone call from the alley shortly afterwards. She walked away from the business at approximately 6:00 p.m. Sandy has never been heard from again.

Several investigators believed Sandy left of her own accord, but her mother disagrees with the theory. Sandy's case remains classified as a non-family abduction by the majority of agencies. Police are investigating the case as an endangered missing person.

Several possible witnesses in Sandy's case have died in the years since her disappearance. There have been searches in various places for her body but no evidence was uncovered. Police continue to pursue her case but have not gotten any good leads in years. A detective investigating her disappearance believes Sandy attended a party on the night she disappeared and that other guests at the party may know what happened to her. There is no evidence to support his theory, however.

Sandy's case remains unsolved.
